*Kion and Rani have never met in this story* Kion is the son of Simba and Nala, King and Queen of The Pridelands. Kion is always depressed. Nobody knows why, including his best friend Bunga. She told Kion about her tragic past, and so Kion asks Rani to join him in his journey back to Pride Rock. She agrees. During the time they ventured together, he soon began to have feelings for her. Kiongozi, prince of the Pridelands, 3rd cub to Nala and Simba, Leader of the Lion Guard, and defender of the kingdom, was always neglected by his father. His older siblings, Kiara and Kopa, hurt him mentally and physically, and Nala pretended like he didn't exist. Kion hated his life. He did everything for his family, and they still treated him like a nobody. The Lion Guard wasn't any better.
