The Greylands: Modern Edition
A land of shadows, of mystery, of obfuscated Truth. Welcome to the Greylands, that strange world, within the bounds of Time, peopled by mortal men. We cannot see truly, only as through a glass, darkly. There are things that move and have their being completely beyond our ability to perceive them. There are things beyond our mortal ability to comprehend. There are hints and glimmers hidden within the body of revealed Truth, but there is much we do not know, cannot yet understand, and could never dare dream. These stories are mere fancy, with a seed of Truth at their core. They play with the ideas of mortality and Eternity, Time and things beyond it, and of course the epic battle of Good against Evil. Each stands alone, and though there are common themes, threads, names, and concepts, each story is an entity unto itself and should not be seen as occurring in the same world or mistaken for installments of a series. These are random musings, not Gospel Truth, and should not be taken as such. Joy, hope, and encouragement are hopefully a byproduct, but certainly not sound Theology. If you would know more of the true world beyond these Greylands, one must be a careful student of the Scriptures, not of silly stories such as these. Stanley and The Narrator, a pair never made to last. Creator and creation. "Let's go back just once and give Stanley one more run of the office, Then I'll retire him for good." Stanley found himself desperately attempting to extend this last run of his as much as he could but ultimately couldn't escape from the end after all. The end of the parable and the end of his life chased him relentlessly. And he was going to run out of breath. He awoke one day to sand and sky and the sun gliding over him. ---------------------- This is not going to include any romance, (unless you look closely ig) BUT hear me out, this is an emotional rollercoaster through the path I'm pretty sure most players go through. Just told in a dramatic pre release au Stanley and Narrator thing. Where Stanley - a real person- had helped the narrator cover all corners of the game and create new endings. (Idk man I just moved my hands and this came out. The epilogue traumatised me. )Complete

(TWs: gore, abuse, sexual abuse, cursing) Why does he still breathe? Why is he kept alive in this shadowed purgatory where time has no meaning, and screams are swallowed by the walls? His cell is a cage, his life a cruel experiment, and his mind a battlefield. Questions claw at him relentlessly: Who is he? What is he? Why does this torment exist? The walls bleed stories of others-lost souls whose cries still linger, haunting the air. His own voice has grown hoarse from endless screams, his body a canvas of scars, a map of suffering that tells no answers, only pain. Every day is a ritual of degradation, where faceless captors toy with his humanity, stripping him of it piece by agonizing piece. The only constant is the endless cycle of questions. Why him? Why the torture? What is their purpose? He clings to the faintest memories of a time before-fleeting images of warmth, love, a face he cannot quite recall. But even those are slipping away, devoured by the void growing inside him. In this relentless, suffocating darkness, where hope is a distant memory, only one question remains: When will the game end, and what will be left of him when it does?

You download the Stanley Parable...the wrong way. You get stuck inside the game. Have fun with your consequences. The Narrator can be Crass and sassy. But your cleverness is endearing. Getting stuck in Stanleys body was not on your bucket list. Haha. And the Narrator falling for you wasn't on his either. Perhaps by doing as he asks, you will be safe for now.
