It's been seven years. Each year was torture, for both of them.
For Drake, it had been loneliness, left to deal with the voices in his head and this insatiable hunger to know more and be better, be stronger. To finally be able to complete his goal. 
For Grayson, it had been grief. The loss of his family affected him much more than he'd like to admit, even after all this time. He refused to move on, and it shows. 
But darkness lingers, and the light of hope is flickering. The only light left was the corrupting gaze of the demon- if it even was that anymore.

And of course, the burning question:

"What did it truely mean- truely COST- to be a hero?"

This is an Au for a Minecraft roleplay called The Haunting . There are are people, places, and events that happen in the show that also happen in this book, as well as the future two. There are also differences as well, as that is how an AU (alternate universe) works. Having said that, enjoy

Hope you brought a book. There was a teenage boy who went by the name Zubin, who had decided to traverse the raging blizzards of "The White Hell" on a voyage to another home. The reason is that it stands between him and a place where he could start over after his life in his hometown had been decimated by an unknown cause. The White Hell seems impossible to go across, and it shows in almost killing Zubin...if it wasn't for the introduction of a penetrating, soft, female voice. -------------------- The Three Mage Sisters and Hyness aren't mine and are part of the Kirby Series owned by HAL Laboratory and Nintendo, and come from the 2017 video game "Kirby Star Allies".
