She remembers nothing of her past, and has nothing to remind her of it- except two stones and a bone spear. She remains with Zuko and Iroh because they offer her safety, comfort, and a promise of finding her family and home as long as she helps capture the Avatar first. The only problem: the Avatar is hard to catch, and she's starting to wonder if she's doing the right thing. Fixing the past by Azula_the_Firelord

Azula has been in an asylum for a year now. She is barely improving but finds herself racing towards improvement when an old friend becomes something more. This is a Tyzula ship, it takes place one year after the events of Atla. (I do not own any Atla characters, nor do I own the cover art.)

In the year 96 AG, a freshly burned and banished 13-year-old Prince Zuko discovers a strange boy frozen in an iceberg. When Zhao interferes with Zuko's plans to deliver the Avatar to his father, Aang helps Zuko and Iroh escape. They take refuge in the abandoned Air Temples, Aang searching for any remnants of his people that he can find. Along the way, he teaches an indoctrinated Zuko about the true nature of the Air Nomads. Zuko must come to terms with the fact that everything he has been taught was a lie, while Iroh must acknowledge and face the sins of his past. Eventually, Aang and Zuko become close friends, and Zuko begins to feel things he has never felt for anyone before. However, Zhao will not give up easily, and will do whatever it takes to capture the Avatar and his traitor accomplices. This AU will explore the friendship and eventual romance that could have happened between Aang and Zuko if the circumstances of their meeting had been different. Three chapters for three couples, each one complete with the secrets of each pair's relationship. - soooo you may recognize this type of fic from a tokka one-shot i wrote a while ago, and i decided (wayyy too long ago) to turn it into a series with my fave three couples in atla! as the summary says, there'll be three chapters, one for each couple, all in the same timeline with hints to the others in each pair's correspondence. the tokka one will be pretty similar to the one currently in my book of tokka one shots, with a few tweaks and time skips.
