Ten years have passed since Caitlin Parker and Nickolas Morgan last saw each other. However, as fate may have it their paths cross again.
Since then, Caitlin has been living on her own, creating a new life for herself. However, one day her family drags her back to the life she has tried hard to run from only to be used as a pawn.
While Nick has been shaped to take over the family company. With his father prepared to retire, he is forced to find a wife in order to continue his family's legacy.

This is a snowbarry plot. The story is based on the last season(however Barry never vanished in the future. So he raises his children). Nora isn't the only one that travels back in time to meet her parents. A second speedster appears in Central City a couple of months after Nora has settled with her parents, challenging what is meant to be impossible. We know Caitlin Snow doesn't believe in destiny, at least not for her. Every person she's loved has either died or they leave at one time or another. Her heart has been broken too many times and she can't afford to keep picking up the pieces. Her heart is frozen solid. She is meant to be alone. No marriage, no husband, no family.
