Shender Lore (Custom Race!)

This is basically not a story but more like lore for a race that will be featured in the future in my stories! Who knows if I get enough of a following I will make more of these! The essentials are, this is a dark race with an origin of war and death, conquering and fighting, showing strength to find acknowledgment, that slowly changed its ways to become a utopia a literal fantasy for any society and managed to become a semi-pacifistic society with no crimes or any more wars. This might not sound like much however you will never know, how this race existed, where it came from or any of its twists unless you read! May I say...that this is truly just the tip of the iceberg!

The Arena
Once you reach the Arena, there are only two possible options: you can fight as a 'gladiator' in hopes of seeing another day or you can die and be left at the mercy of the elements and the wild life in the harsh Badlands. If you're like me, you're tired-tired of being told you're ordinary, tired of doing the same thing that everyone else is doing, tired of the countless books, movies, and stories that imprint the idea that only The Chosen One can change the world while the rest of us are forced to watch from the sidelines. If you're like me, then you're also not The Chosen One. But wouldn't you like to be? If you were given the chance to be The Chosen One, wouldn't you take it? What if you knew it was a stone-cold lie? My journey unfolds on a secret island located somewhere between the end of the road and the middle of nowhere. Upon arrival, the inhabitants believed I was Gabriel-the prophet of the prophecy destined to save the island of Concordia from an extinction-level civil war. There's just one problem: I am not Gabriel. But that didn't stop me from stealing the mantle of The Chosen One for myself, unprepared for the consequences this lie would unfold and ill-equipped for what being The Chosen One really means. What followed was an epic clash of culture, values, and heart as each of the five divided Kingdoms of Concordia tried to convince me that their way of life was best. The story of a legend made myth
In this story, there was a boy, he grew up into a great man. A man made legend. The supernatural of the world itself, wrapping around the finger of a legend, a legend made God. If you want to find out who this boy is, what are you doing? Come read, it will be a story of a lifetime. I hope you all enjoy and help guide me as I'm not old. I'm still a teenager who's going into adulthood. But this story mostly revolves around my dreams and what I think or what other people think of them. I hope you all enjoy and have a great time. Edit: There might be a harem, I just haven't decided yet. So I'll put the tag up there for now.

The world flooded, and only small peaks now rise above the water, with civilization confined to waterborne cities with limited resources. The cities are ruled by tyrannous bosses, enforcing their will with an army of thugs and Stoneweavers, those able to use the remnants of magic from the old times. Resources are maintained by regular Cleansing of the populace, selling the poorest into slavery as miners. With a Cleansing due, what danger are an escaped slave and a thief to this delicate society? As an experiment, I'm publishing the first draft chapters from this heroic fantasy on a daily basis, while still writing it. I'm about halfway through but at the current rate should be able to keep up the pace until it's finished (admittedly, many of the chapters are fairly short). It's also an exercise in discovery writing, as I'm working from a very loose outline on this one, but I have a fairly good idea of the ending by this point. The chapters may get updated to fix typos, or if elements need changing due to future chapters, but otherwise the final version should be made available as an ebook.Zakończone
