Nick was lounging comfortably in his favourite leather armchair by the fireplace, casually flipping through one of his ideal novels of choice. Immersed as he was, he didn't catch the creak of a door as someone silently stepped in.

Cautiously, the figure skulked around the room, making no noise with his silent footsteps. The light from the fire glinted off of a metal object in his hand, a sly grin forming on his pale, hooded face. 

The reader seemed to notice the change in his surrounding aura, and perked his head up instinctively, just to be met face to face with the hooded man.

"Bye."
