This story takes place in the kingdom of Althaerim. When an Althaerimian turns 16, a white mark will appear on their body. Only two people can have the exact same mark on the exact same part of their body, and that person is their soulmate.

Arielle is a 16-year-old girl from the lowest rank of the kingdom, and she found out that her long-time best friend turned out to be her soulmate. She was happy about this, of course, until she met a stranger with the same mark and starts to question the truth.
