Always waiting for him

Normally, people would hate waiting. If someone arrived 15 minutes later than the scheduled time, they would refuse to meet them at all in the future. All but one person, Jeremy.
Jeremy was best friends with Noah for a few years and every time they met, Noah would arrive fashionably late. Every single time. Jeremy did not mind.
One day, he decided to confess his feelings to Noah, but due to a call, Noah was unable to give his reply right away.
He was worried that he would reject him, but he did not. However, he dare not have high hopes for fear of Noah crushing it.
The day they met, something unexpected happened.
It led to Jeremy having to wait for Noah again.
He did not mind.
He would always be waiting for him.
