You are a shadowhunter, though you don't know it yet. Your parents were very powerful shadowhunters, but they sadly died in the rising. They left you in the care of Jocelyn Fray, though they understood that you wouldn't be told about the Shadow World, they asked for you to be taught how to defend yourself. You were raised as if Clary was your sister, though you all knew that you guys weren't blood related.
