I looked down so that he could not see the anger burning in my eyes. From my sight, I saw him coming towards me, and me being myself stepped back but he was quick to hold my arm and pull me near him.
"Who do you think you are, huh? Wearing this wrapping cloth around your head and covering your face." Touching my head scarf he said with a laugh, "You must be ugly inside it, right?"
"One word against my religion and you would see the worst side of mine, and it's better you leave me alone, I don't want to pick a fight with one of my stepbrothers." I jerked his hand away not liking him coming this close to me; my anger on its peak, I couldn't control it anymore.
"Don't you dare raise your voice at me." He spoke taking my face in his hand and squeezing it hard, leaving me scared, "I would not hesitate to hurt you even in front of my friends"
He left me with a hard squeeze and I knew it would leave a bruise.
