Many people long for a bigger and better life, especially as a young child and occasionally even a blossoming teen.
However, this rule does not seem to apply to the young, starry eyed Violet Asaki. She has everything she needs: somewhat loving parents, good food, a roof over her head; and of course her whole entire world, her best friend Varian. And these things are something that simply cannot be pitted against leaving everything you know and love behind just to pursue a dull adventure. Why would you?
However, reality seems to believe otherwise; and with the sudden threatening presence of mysterious black rocks with apparent magical properties in her village, Violet's world is completely flipped upside down.
With the King arrogantly ignoring the arising crisis; Varian becoming unrecognisable, as well as her battling her confusing arising feelings for her best friend, and Princess Rapunzel, who promised to fix all of this mess now suddenly out of the picture, Violet must take matters into her own hands when a crazed demon shows up completely out of nowhere, threatening to destroy everything and everyone that is dear to her for seemingly just for the fun of it.
Yet arising from the chaos is a princess with amethyst hair and her loyal handmaiden; and they may be able to fix everything with a startling revelation that may change Violet's view on who she thought she was, forever.........

They switched. For a month, Cassandra would act as a princess while Rapunzel as a lady-in-waiting so she could sneak out to meet Eugene. They were going to reveal the truth after a month. It was all part of the plan. What if things don't go the way they expected it? It was supposed to be just a month and all pretend to Cassandra, but as days passed by, why is it that she could never get the prince out of her mind? It's a Once Upon A Switch love story.Complete

Following his trial, Varian is sentenced to servitude in Ingvarr to pay for damages to Corona. Lieutenant Cassandra is supposed to escort him there, but Rapunzel wants her best friend on her journey. To compromise, the Princess suggests taking Varian with them. ------------------- Updates will typically release on Sundays at 8AM EDT. The cover art is made by yours truly, and was inspired by an album cover from my favorite music artist, Kiltro! Go check out their music- which also inspired the name of this story, haha. My personal favorite song in Underbelly (the album) is Errasuriz. Also! I write everything in google docs, which is where I format everything for AO3 (this work is cross-posted to AO3). So if you spot any letters encased in angled brackets, I apologize, it's how I italicize words, strike them out, and format for AO3. I will do my best to edit them out for you.
