Lina's life was marked by bloodshed and jail visits. She is a protected "honorary member" of the Los Diablos street gang. She she doesn't partake in any of their many illegal activities, but she is the older sister of one of their currently imprisoned members. That means Los Diablos will protect her with every part of them, even if she is completely against them getting hurt for her.
Malcolm is the leader of Los Diablos, and he has always admired the young and spirited Lina from afar. He had met the young girl when she was 14 and he 20. She caught his eye, and he knew he would do anything to protect the young girl, specially from their rival gang's leader, Jax.
But Lina is broken. Her first love tore her world apart, and she does not know if she can ever love again. And Malcolm is unfix-able. He is a gang member who has killed, lied, cheated, stolen and whatever else you can think of. He refuses to bring a woman into his trustless world. What will fate have in store for these two?

I'll be putting trigger warnings before some, but not all because again, this book is dark so please be aware before you continue reading. Secondly, I do not recommend this book to anyone under the age of maturity (continue at your own risk) due to there being ALOT of explicit language and scenes that are heavily detailed and not suitable for everyone. I'm not putting warnings beforehand every single time, so continue at your own risk. Thirdly, I'm open to constructive criticism but not rudeness. Some people are passive aggressive and I'm sensitive. I will mute you with a quickness. And lastly, everything in this book that has to do with organized crime is a work of fiction.
