When a man meets a woman, they say first impressions are everything. One quick glance is all it takes for a person to form an opinion. His appearance .... her mannerisms .... his body language .... her feisty response .... it all sets the tone for what happens next.

Karen quit her corporate job for a good reason. But due to a non-compete clause, she can not practice as a lawyer for the next five years. In order to make ends meet, she begins working as a waitress in a diner.

Baron, successful and alone isn't looking for a relationship. He's fine with his single status and forgettable hook ups. His past experiences have taught him a thing or two about life and loyalty. You could say it's made him slightly jaded.

Two people from different backgrounds, meet and find themselves in a tangle and the possibility of their hearts awakening.
