The people who survived the Great Calamity are scattered to the winds, barely aware of each other's existence. Some remain in their underground bunkers, blissfully unaware that anyone still lives above ground. Some retreated to the hills and mountains long ago where they are sustained by their off-grid low-impact lifestyles. Some were working on giant cargo ships in the ocean, unaware that their port cities were now 100 feet underwater. But what happens when a bunker kid makes contact with someone claiming to live up above, where she thought life was no longer possible? What happens when everyone's safety is threatened by an unknown group? And what did cause the Great Calamity 200 years ago? Join the road trip of a lifetime to find out.

Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
