Brother Dear?

Auster Phillis was a young man working 3 jobs at a time to make ends meet. His name meant 'the South wind'. Funnily enough, everything he could imagine went south as well. It was as if he was cursed. Until one day, on his way back from his last job, he noticed a little girl follow him all the way to his apartment who wouldn't go away. That day, his life took a 180° turn.

Eurus Owen, a 6 year old girl traumatized by her parents death, comes across Auster and recognizes him from a picture she once saw in her parents' album. Relieved after seeing someone she knew, Eurus decides to follow him.

One thing leads to another and now Auster has another responsibility on top of the mountain of other things he already had going against him.

A story about a girl who sees nothing but the guy who she starts to consider her brother/father and a guy who has eyes on everything but the girl. An emotional roller-coaster ride in the world of winds.
