Cain Reesvalt was born in an extremely conservative family who were always hiding from something. He had never seen the outdoors due to his family's paranoia, and lived in a large house with too little windows, positioned too high to see through.

One day, they attacked. The people whom his family was hiding from, they called themselves the Phantom Troupe.
"Run, run like the wind Cain." With his mother's last breath, she placed a spell over him. That he would run far away from trouble when it comes.

Though Cain hadn't realised that he would always be running to the same person.
