Annika had promised Shivaay that she'd never leave him. But owing to her job as a police officer, she had to take up a tough mission which was highly opposed by Shivaay. Misunderstanding his concern as jealousy, she broke up with him, breaking a promise for the first time in her life.

Shivaay, a successful hotelier, had been breaking the promises he made to Annika from the time he got to know her. But after watching Annika follow his path and leave him, he promised himself to never break a promise ever again, and this was the promise that was meant to be broken.

A year later, Annika accidentally met him after she just returns, at his hotel's reception, only to end up at his home for the night. The feelings that were sleeping for a whole year after their break up, suddenly woke up as soon as they met and those sparkles that had faded away from their eyes a year ago returned.

But Annika had promised herself that she won't continue their relationship ever, to save herself and him from another heartbreak, since he'd never understand her love for her job. Yet, this isn't what destiny had planned for them, when it made Shivaay realize their still existing love for each other.

Moreover, to add some spice in their life and as a cupid, a series of murder case comes up and unwillingly, Annika had to involve Shivaay into it, involving herself with him.

But, will they be able to solve the case?

Will Shivaay be able to except that she'll be gone next month for a new mission, endangering herself?

Will their love be able to face another heartbreak?
