Rosalind Thames is a woman whose existence invites strong opinions.

A mutant who possesses the ability to manipulate technology, she recently became the perpetrator of the biggest leak the government has ever seen. The media can't decide if she's a hero or a traitor, and she narrowly escaped prosecution by accepting a job with the Global Bureau of Defense, an international non-governmental organization made up of mutants dedicated to protecting the world from superhuman threats. But, even in this massive agency, she finds herself uncovering a secret she isn't sure she can keep.

Enter Mozart Bardot, the boy who spent his childhood following Rosalind around their small hometown in Georgia. He works as an analyst for a small superhuman defense firm, and he's good at his job. But, when his old friend asks for help, he may just find himself facing down the largest collection of superheroes the world has ever seen in an effort to save the day.
