A strange and unlikely friendship develops between them when Fox is asked to host Ellie for a year to film a documentary about the Sámi people. 

As Ellie is left for dead in the middle of the frozen Finnmark tundra after a brutal attack, Fox begins to wonder if uncle Ailo's old Sámi beliefs really are 'just mythology' and a spark is kindled between these two people who couldn't be more unsuitable for each other if they tried.
