Spencer Reid, the B.A.U.'s very own genius, is an all-around favorite. He's had his own amount of trauma, but in the end, it just brought him closer to his team. But recently, Reid has been different. His team was given a case similar to that of Tobias Hankel's, whom was the one that kidnapped Reid so many years ago. Everyone on the team has noticed how different Reid has been, knowing the case is bringing back memories of his torturous past involving Hankel. Shutting all of his friends out was a specialty of Reid's, but this time, it could have fatal consequences.
When the B.A.U.'s genius is kidnapped again, they are all forced to relive the memories of Reid's previous kidnapping in order to bring him back safely in time. Will they be able to find him in time? Will his kidnapper(s) be caught, or will they get away?
