'Looking for quiet roommate.' 'Located in quiet area.' 'Apartment has previously received noise complaints.' Virgil groaned and tossed his phone onto his bed, burying his face in his hands. He just needed an apartment that would be okay with his job. Trying to keep to his price range and find what he needed was proving to be so much harder than he thought it would. This would be his first time moving somewhere that he didn't know the owners of the place beforehand. "Welcome to YouTube life, idiot." Virgil grumbled to himself. He picked up his phone again, going to close out of the app he was using, but suddenly a line on one that he hadn't looked at caught his eye. 'Must be willing to allow for eccentric work ethics and schedules, as owner of the apartment works independently online.' Virgil tapped on the listing and began to read. 'Four bedroom apartment, looking for up to three roommates. Apartments beneath and above are both empty at the moment, noise is not a problem so long as residents are courteous. Preferred that applicants are male.' Virgil stared at the listing. This was so... so perfect. He closed the app and tapped his messenger app. 'Hey Pat, I think I found something.' Disclaimer: I just reread A Lesson in Practicality by @residentanchor, so there might be some things ever so slightly similar to that, but if there are I am not doing it on purpose and I apologize. Hello everyone, mostly to my followers. Yes, you read the title right, this is a Outcast only book! I've been thinking about making this for a while now, and since I'm not currently into Undertale at the moment. I still want to write for my oc's, because so many people love them. "I'm sorry, they found a what?" The five years after the passing of King Victor had been very harsh on the kingdom of Eaden. No one would disagree with that. He had been a benevolent ruler and a kind man. But everyone knew that his death had affected his son Thomas the most. Crowned king at the age of 24, and not having expected to rise to the position for years yet, Thomas had struggled to follow in his father's footsteps. He was getting much better, but it took time. He had to thank his three advisors for that. The castle's experienced healer was his physician and confidant, a quick-witted and talented knight had proved his bravery and taken his spot as the kingdom's head of defense, and the tutor who had taught Thomas almost everything he knew as a child became his lead strategist. The three were like family to him, even if their occasional bickering set his nerves on edge. And of course, the constant trouble that seemed to find them. Like now, for example, because King Thomas had just been informed that his Inner Circle had found a body of a young man in the moat of the castle. Patton has a heart pin that he can tap and he can become invisible. But Virgil? He has the worst item. It's a book. A book filled with every single conversation anyone's had about him. Nobody knows about his item, because he hides in in fear of that, if anyone finds out what it does, they'll fake everything they say about him and begin to avoid him completely.
