Her boyfriend Thomas tries to comfort her, but nothing he does seems to help her, probably because he had been the one to kill Newt. Newt had begged for death, Y/N had been there and witnessed it all herself, she doesn't blame Thomas for what he did, but she wishes it had been someone else. Then one night, after Y/N has another night-terror, Thomas decides to do the only thing to help her that he hasn't tried yet...

They finally got to the safe haven. Fortunately, Newt survived and Teresa survived. Thomas starts acting stranger and more distant every day. He gets some memories back from before the maze and remembers about the supernatural. It's even scarier - what he's going through - because he recognizes everything that happens. There's a voice, whispered riddles. Whispers by the same, old, rusty voice. Thomas doesn't tell anyone. He tried to, but something stopped him from talking. The nogitsune is in control again.
