Canine Cyborg Boyfriend

The townspeople of Stars Fall don't have an explanation for why odd events occur in their sleepy town. For the most part, they do their best to ignore it and lead normal lives filled with unlikely romance, early morning coffee runs, and chili cook-off festivals.

All that changes when a little dog named Barkly looks up to the heavens and wishes on a shooting star. His wish? To become a real man, a man worthy enough for a tattoo parlor owner, Cindy, whom he has fallen in love with.

A newcomer named Ben arrives to town with a dog-like loyal, carefree demeanor, the robotic muscle to fight an otherworldly tentacle monster, and eyes only for Cindy. He manages to score a job at the next door flower shop and even make new friends. Soon Ben becomes entangled with a cast of quirky townsfolk as his quest to win Cindy's heart unravels the mystery of why Stars Fall is full of magic.
