'You'd be surprised how much you can have in common with someone completely different'
Aura and Axel have known each other since they were babies and were best friends when they were young. Things happened in their lives that made the two drift apart, becoming opposites.
Aura was a socialite, a party girl, little Miss Popular with an attitude problem. She had the looks, the money and had everything handed to her on a silver platter from her more than wealthy father. Aura was living the life, with no responsibilities and not a care in the world. She should be happy but the lack of attention from her parents and the secret she's known for years kills her slowly.
Axel on the other hand was quite the awkward turtle, never really socialising and always giving 110% in school and work. He had to work to help out his single mother, his father having left them for a new family when he was just 12. They weren't rich but they were content, it was enough to just have each other. He liked being alone but felt like something(or someone) was missing in his life.
After a night at a party Aura throws, which Axel is forced to go to, things change drastically between the two.
One drunken game, one awkward situation and one terrible tragedy will either bring the two closer together or tear them further apart.
