A thirteen-year-old boy and his group of friends get pulled into an ancient struggle between good and evil, seemingly following all the usual tropes associated with this sort of adventure. It doesn't take long for things to get much weirder than they expect, because the involved prophecy does not say the boy is meant to save the world. He's meant to destroy it.
