This Broken Bubble

A nameless girl lived in a bubble for twelve years. She faced several challenges and problems, but her life was never consumed by them. Now, at eighteen, her world has become ravaged by the issue of race. She lives in between two warring sides and several splinter groups, constantly in the line of fire with no clear escape except death. Every hateful comment saps her strength and resolve, bringing her again and again to the brink of an irreversible decision. Does she take the easy way out? Or buckle down and fight to make her voice heard?
