Izuku Midoryia was pronounced dead after committing suicide, but the body was never found. Of course Inko Midoryia doesn't believe he is gone, and neither does Katsuki Bakugou.
Midoryia was with the villains for a whole year before the attack on USJ where he makes a grand reappearance after his faked death.
Is it the same Izuku that disappeared? Why is he with the villains? Will he ever come back and become a hero?

What Makes A Traitor
Izuku Midoriya is the traitor of Class 1-A. However, as with most things in his life, it's complicated. After his father left, life with his single mother was difficult as money was tight. He was bullied at school and ostracized for being weak and "quirkless". After his mother's mysterious death labeled as a suicide in his last year of junior high, something changed in Izuku. He now had nothing except a dangerously devastating quirk that he avoided using. That is until the infamous League of Villains provided him with the opportunity of a lifetime. Falling (Depressed Deku Fanfic) (COMPLETE)
Ever since Izuku Midoriya joined U.A. High School and settled in, he knew that the League of Villains were after him and his quirk: One For All. However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead. Midoriya is brought back to the League of Villains' hideout and with him there, Shigaraki plans on changing the young boy's mindset and plans to use force against him. When Midoriya isn't able to escape for three years and no one can seem to find him, he begins to lose hope and his wounds only bleed more. Even when he goes back in time with the help of a pro hero's quirk, he is diagnosed with depression and struggles to go on through life. He doesn't feel like himself. He needs someone. He needs someone so badly. But what if there isn't anybody to help Midoriya? How will Midoriya cope when someone close to him dies right in his arms? Warning! One would think that everything is alright and everything is back to normal after what happened. The LOV attacked the UA camp side and they kidnapped a child.
