London lives in fear of a newly-surfaced thief--one skilled enough to swipe the most conspicuous, valuable items without leaving a trace or ever getting caught. The last thing anyone would suspect that this incredibly dexterous thief is a twelve-year-old orphan, supporting other orphans in the old, abandoned clock tower.

Yuuichirou Amane is an orphan, a victim of London's prejudice towards the impoverished. To look after his family, he steals from the wealthy.

After an especially successful heist, he attracts the attention of the mythical Red Hand: an organization of thieves that elude the shadows, themselves. To join the organization and to secure a comfortable life for his family and himself for the rest of their lives, he has a single task: to steal a pocket watch that is capable of manipulating time, itself.

Yuuichirou deems it a simple task, but when a young, wealthy boy follows him back to his hideout, it becomes apparent that this task is not what it seems, and that it is more complicated than any twelve-year-old boy could ever imagine.
