I run with the fastest of my ability. Branches snapping beneath my foot, leaves rustling. The beasts of the night knew better, making their existence hidden, crawling back to their places. For they knew, something more dangerous than them are set loose into their forest home tonight. Something that could end their lives with a snap of their fingers. Something that could drain them of their blood and leave their bodies to rot into the forest floor, sucking out the life from them in mere seconds. I sense the town a few kilometers away. The cold wind causing my fur to fly wildly. My paws would leave a mark but fuck it. I would fight. They misunderstood my ability. I would make them known. Just then, something sharp scratched through my haunches, making me howl in agony. My scream piercing through the silent night. I stumble, falling straight on my face. I need to shift. The predator behind me grabs my left ankle, pulling me closer, just the moment I shift back to my human form. I wince hard when my naked, wounded waist dragged through the rough floor. I tried kicking my foothills, struggling to stand on my feet when He grabbed both of my wrists, pinning them above my head and pushing his waist into me, making me immobilize. His strength shocked me to the core. What was He? I silently prayed to the Moon Goddess, let me be up on my feet, and I'd show him. Just when I wriggle my body hard, a loud growl escaped his hard chest making me freeze. I stared up to his silver eyes, pupils completely dilated. Sliding his hand through my ribs, caressing my collarbones, he wrapped his hand around my neck. Staring deep into my eyes, he ordered, "Submit!" My actions freezes completely, my body thums with silent vibrations, compiling to his orders without a second thought. Perplexed by my own action, I choose to say nothing. Who is he? Why am I listening to him? Who could be more powerful than me? [CONTAINS MATURE CONTENT, ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK]

‏**_"I never believed in legends-until I became part of one. ‏For centuries, whispers of a ruthless gang haunted my town, a group so feared that no one dared to speak their name. People said they weren't just violent men, but something far worse... something inhuman. ‏I thought it was just an old story. A warning to keep children from wandering too far at night. ‏I was wrong. ‏They are real. And now, they know I've seen them."_** ________________________‏ "No one touches you. No one looks at you. No one even breathes near you unless I allow it." ‏His voice was sharp, a growl vibrating deep in his chest. My back was pressed against the cold wall of his room, his body towering over mine, trapping me in place. ‏"Why?" My voice was barely a whisper, my pulse hammering against my ribs. ‏His hand came up, fingers threading through my hair before fisting it, tilting my head back so I had no choice but to meet his eyes-those stormy, merciless gray eyes that burned with something terrifyingly possessive. ‏"Because you're mine." ‏I swallowed hard, my breath hitching as his lips brushed against the sensitive skin of my neck. He inhaled deeply, his grip tightening. "There's something about you, something different. Your scent..." He let out a low, almost pained growl. "It drives me mad." ‏His other hand ghosted over my throat, his thumb pressing lightly against my pulse. "I should keep you locked away, hidden from everyone. But even that won't be enough, will it? Because no matter where you go, no matter how far you run... I will always find you."
