The air was electric the day Lucian Boom came to town. The entire city of Avlis was buzzing with nervous energy. It was the first time in history that someone like him would be infiltrating their fair city and there was an equal mix of excitement and disdain. He would be under intense scrutiny, at least for a while. The Elders weren't at all pleased with the recent turn of events but Sebastian had used a particular loophole to get his friend over the wall. They had refused at first but there was really nothing they could do to keep him out. Some things were bigger than them. The wind blew in from the east, the Gods had spoken. He would be there soon, whether they liked it or not.
Sebastian had followed through with his promise to get his old friend out of Tres Manor. Now there was a whole other set of problems. The Elders weren't happy with his unexpected entrance to their perfect land and honestly, neither was he. Lucian can't remember a time before the dark and there's something about Ezra Green that brings out the worst in him.
