Imagine the ability to jump in the air and fly away on feathery wings; the tremendous power coursing through your veins as you direct a lightning bolt back toward the sky with only your index finger; but now, imagine the weight of an entire world resting on your shoulders. Every spirited young girl has dreams of becoming the Cursor: a girl whose body would absorb the power of the Meridian and become a portal between the mortal and spirit world for just one night each year until her death. However, during the sacrificial ceremony of the Nexgen Cursor, everything changed. Sage, the chosen sacrifice, received all the powers of the Meridian without receiving its consciousness. In the place of the new Meridian the people had been expecting was a foolish young girl who had single-handedly gained all the powers of the gods.

Grace
The girl, who found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time, experienced a stroke of misfortune. Following this incident, she was drawn into a world completely foreign to her, where she struggled to adapt to her new life. I was face to face with death. I knew it. I hadn't even realized when his hand had grasped mine. Fear overshadowed all my senses. But after what felt like an eternity, I finally felt my wrist. He was gripping it so tightly that blood could no longer flow to my hand. As I lowered my head to look at the hand clutching my wrist, he used his other hand to grab my chin, turning my face toward his. Then, he pressed his lips to mine. I stood frozen for a moment. Then, I let myself go. For a fleeting instant, he seemed to let himself go too. And then, just like that, he was gone. In an instant, he had vanished. The hand gripping my wrist, the lips pressing against mine-gone. And I was left standing there, completely stunned. It felt as though I had forgotten my own name. I started to tremble. My legs gave out beneath me, and I collapsed to the ground. Sitting there, shaking in shock, I finally understood what he was.

The island is under threat from demon-possessed recruits destroying hallowed land and poisoning the Well Source of magic. I kicked their ass right away, only to discover the threat I never expected to face was behind it all. Demon King Uruk'Zu himself. To make matters worse, my younger sister has gone missing. Caught up in emotion, I kissed the man who has haunted my dreams for years. It was an innocent kiss, or so I thought. Turns out it was a bad idea. Very bad. With that one kiss we woke a centuries-old fated-mate spell that will curse my life if I deny it. I don't know how I'll fight these invaders, protect my island, find my sister, navigate family drama, destroy the Daemon King and handle this whole fated-mate hot-guy thing. I'd rather run away again, but if I fail, the thin veil of magic separating worlds will tear. Dark chaos will consume my island, everyone I love, and the entire world. No biggie, right? Now if only I could remember how to cast a spell...Complete

The Wright
FULL STORY ON PATREON- COMPLETED There are many types of witches and warlocks with varying skills and abilities in Gandheim. Being a Portaler, Healer, or Maganer will guarantee success, but the greatest of all are the Soul Wrights. With the ability to manipulate life force itself, Soul Wrights are as exceedingly dangerous as they are rare and only manifest in males. The High King Kinnut owes his position to his ability, but has maintained peace within his realms for nearly two centuries. He claims that this is due to a strict adherence to his greatest law; all Soul Wrights are put to death after a prophecy foretold the end of his reign by another. Fortunately or unfortunately for me, I showed poor magical capabilities growing up and am failing out of the Academy. Barely more useful than a human, I will be lucky to find a job cleaning sewage pipes. When Kinnut visits the Academy to eliminate the newest Soul Wright, he offers me a position in his home at Height. Not only because he could end my life with a snap of his fingers, but also because of the pressure from my family, I have no choice but to accept. Our line has always been intertwined with the King, until now. FINISHED ON PATREON HERE: https://www.patreon.com/posts/68851294
