Samantha Egen was not on a baseball team, she did however have a cousin who did and watched his games regularly. Learning the rules of baseball and even went as far as to read dozens of books about baseball.

It was late at night and Samantha was surfing the web in search of a new baseball book. She happened to stumble upon a baseball manga series called Ace of the Diamond.
