In a town down south there is a group of women who enjoy living a simple life. But they aren't your average group of women are they? Each of them has their own unique personality and unique problems. They must face everyone around them, the world, each other, and most of all themselves. Some people in town think they are witches, others think a nonprofit organization. But who really knows?
When a newcomer comes to town they immediately take her in. It was no secret that she had her share of skeletons in her closet, and it was no secret that everybody in town is calling her a murderer. But that wasn't true was it? Young, old, new, or a town know it all, everybody is welcome in The Healer's Club.
-------Sneak Peek--------
Nira sat down across from a beautiful black woman with a beautiful bone structure. She was withdrawn and whispers surrounded her like butterflies around sweet flowers. Murder. Murder. Murder. They whispered.
"Hey I'm Nira, you can call me whatever you would like. I know it's strange of a white women to be approaching you. But I was wondering if you would join me and my friends for some tea?"
The girl paused, then looked up with malice.
"Haven't you heard? I'm a filthy murderer. You really shouldn't talk to strangers lady."
"Well, I was always taught not to listen to what other people have to say about someone. Here's a card if you change your mind. We'll be having tea on Sunday. Come down and see us if you would like."
With that, she was gone. The stranger rolled her eyes, but still the card caught her attention. She turned it over in her hand and read the giant print in the middle: THE HEALERS CLUB.
