The cheerful man feels guilty for these feelings and think that it is unprofessional to have this attraction to her and tries to steer away from the thought of her. Spoiler alert, it's harder than he thought it would be. Gwen doesn't feel the same way for David, until one faithful day, David HAD to do something to make her fall head over heels for him and reminding her of all of the times she felt those butterflies in her stomach when David was around.
