Cato had spent his whole life running. It was all he could do. When he fought, he lost. He ran from his home, his friends, his cause, his purpose.

Now hiding on a distant planet, Cato has started a new life. His past is behind him, and war is forgotten. His only tie to the outside world is the Mandalorian, for whom he anxiously awaits.
When the Mandalorian does return, it's with a request, one that would throw Cato back into the world of war and destiny and loss.

But he could never refuse the Mandalorian.
