Feralie York has lost everything. She can't seem to find anymore reasons to live, in fact. But nevertheless, she can't bring herself to ending her life.

A year after losing everything, she gets a knock on her door, for the first time in that year. It's Warren, telling her that the rebels need her on their side and their side only.

The Government knows that they have a threat on their hands, and they aren't going to take it lightly. They've created a genetically mutated plague, and are now spreading it carefully to the rebels, and to strike fear into the hearts of their citizens, who don't know that it's their Government doing these things.

But Feralie wants nothing to do with the rebels, with the Government, with any of it. But can she set aside the demons inside of her and somehow find a way to rebuild herself?
