When life gives you lemons you have two options, make lemonade and stay safe or squeeze them into life's eyes and live life on the edge... if you had to choose where would you stand?
Melanie Fawn has always lived in her quiet town of Winona, MN and she's finally reached the end of her high school years. Now that her school life is changing the real world thinks that it too should change and unlock secrets of itself that she never knew existed. My mother always told me when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. When someone knocks you down, you get right back up. You fight the good fight until you have nothing left. You fight with honor, you protect the ones you love, and if you just happen to die in the process, than you do so with dignity and grace. What my mother neglected to tell me during my studies was that you don't always get what you want, the outcome you think is coming doesn't always happen, and when the smoke clears, you're always going to be the last one standing. By the end of The Certainty, Georgiana Vertigo is left with nothing more than her life, something many people would be more than happy to have. However, Georgiana is left to her own devices in a strange city, alone and heartbroken with regular intense bouts of depression. In starting a new life with the Guild, Georgiana has everything she needs in order to move on with her life and keep her mind off the past. Hidden Feelings
The longer you have to wait for something, the more you will appreciate it when it finally arrives, the harder you have to fight for something, the more priceless it will become once you achieve it and the more pain you have to endure on your journey the sweeter the arrival at your destination, all good things are worth waiting for and worth fighting for, But what would happen if you feel like your waiting for something that isn't going to happen? and fighting for something and fighting against something are two different things, and what if the more pain you endure, is the more bitterness your destination be.
A Lovely Life
Journey with me back in time as I rewrite the first Journal I kept from when I was in high school, and see that maybe even with how horrible life is most of the times, there are little things spread throughout that make life worth living. My high school experience was full of drama, tears, laughter, and most of all constant search of love, and approval of the people around me. I can't always get what I want in this world. Life is a beautiful mess. It's not perfect, and filled with a lot of disappointments, and heartbreak.
