(I wrote this when I was thirteen so read at your own risk since I had no idea where I was going.) Before everything got out of hand, confusing, exiting, heartbreaking and wild like a football match. Life was unbearable but this is how it started..... It was just ordinary day in school. My first day back now in my senior year before I head off to college. The last class was English one of my favourite subjects. Half way through the teacher left us to go to the office after a phone call had been dialled. Once the others heard this they ran to the other person, 85 from the other team. 22 glanced at the bleachers, briefly making eye contact with me, he then quickly looked back, almost as if doing a double take. He held the eye contact this time, I gave him a small smile and he gave me a sweet smile. "He smiled at you!" "It was just a smile," I said going back to my book. "You have a crush." "You definitely do, but we won't say anything, yet." I rolled my eyes at both of them. They were right, no, maybe. He was cute, the way his hair fell, and how he put the other player before himself. I thought it was cute.
