This is part 2 of my first published story Under the Same Universe.
At 40 years old Allie has finally earned her freedom. 20 years of toleranting abuse and fear has left her numb and cold to the promises of a brighter future. Taking a job as a repair engineer aboard a interspecies ship ran by the Atssk is her first step forward toward independence. Love is the last thing on her mind and self sufficiency the first.
Allie is finally out of the hospital and is eager to start her new life. Does she want to stay, move, or completely leave to another corner of the states? What about her job will she go back?
All of this is small potatoes compared to the sudden and eminent arrival of the Atssk who spare no time trying to recruit new crew members from the general public.
Suspicion is rampant as they promise generous benefits for those who agree to work on their ships.

"Not all women are successful in adapting to Pinn" The handsome man narrowed his eyes at the woman in the back "It saddens me to think of what happens to those who don't" I gasped silently at the threat. So far none of the Pinns had said anything but hallow words of propaganda and encouragement. The room was unnaturally silent. The woman in back clearly understood the implied threat. Somehow the threat brings me back to the reality of the situation. I was here against my will. ----- Ivy wakes up to a changed life. Kidnapped by aliens and taken to a world where females no longer exist and human women are kidnapped as replacements, she must adjust to her new reality. Her role and purpose are clearly laid out in the alien society, she uncovers the horrors embedded within her new world and the man she is supposed to spend her life with has enabled in its hypocrisies. Ivy has to decide if she can love a man complicit in her trauma. Gidean has been hurt in the past. He is wary of trying with a human woman again and has accepted his life without female companionship. His mother has other ideas and forces a young woman upon him knowing he would never send her away and risk exposing her to the true nature of the Pinn society. Gidean must choose give up the privileges of the only society he has known or risk hurt again. Together they must overcome the wrongs of Pinn or face their lives subjected to it.Complete

Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. And what happens when one of those aliens takes an interest in Ava? Daxx is is an alien. Everything is normal until a strange metal machine crashes on his home planet, carrying strange looking guests. One in particular catches his eye. A beautiful girl with long, wavy brown hair that comes to her mid thighs, large, hazel doe-like eyes, plump lips and curves for days.
