This is a collection of 'Destiny' stories I have written over the years. Some are linked and some are standalone. The story takes place after 'Crota's End' and 'House of Wolves', our heroes emerging victorious from both. The impending doom of 'The Taken King' is where the story begins and continues through to Destiny 2. It requires some knowledge of the Destiny universe and lore, however, I do my best to explain things along the way. The tone of the fic is action/drama with some 1980's anime influences in both exposition/speech and character stylings whilst staying true within the universe of Destiny and Destiny 2.

Swift-2 - A Destiny 2 Story
A young thief in The Last City finds himself befriending some of the City's Guardians and begins to find new purpose, but his proclivity for thievery puts him in a rough spot with many enemies. The newly adopted Hunter must find his way out of a mess of his own creation, making new allies and even more enemies along the way, and discovering what it means to be a Guardian. Additional Note - This is very experimental, but I've created a soundtrack for the story to listen to as you read. The numbers in parenthesis throughout the story indicate where songs begin. "You're not brave, you've merely forgotten the fear of death...Allow me to reacquaint you." The words wouldn't leave her head... Ghaul's mocking tone, the way he looked down at her like she was nothing but an ant beneath his boot with his eyes narrowed and stance radiating a smug triumph that made the Young Wolf grit her teeth and clench her jaw even days after the fact. His words though wasn't what caused her anger, even if they did send a pang of, something through her body. She ignored that (like she always did) and focused on the matter at hand for now, (for her feelings didn't matter; they never would.) Ghaul had invaded her home, the home of her people and captured the Traveler right from under their noses. He slaughtered her people, killed all who hadn't evacuated and he not once cared for the amount of innocent lives he took. The blood of men, women and children who just wanted to live in peace... He had killed all who stood in his way, and The Guardian hadn't been able to stop him from doing so... She had failed...she was right there before him and had fallen down on her knees, too exhausted to get back up and fight without her Light. (She was Weak...a failure...a coward...) The Titan could still feel the phantom pain coursing through her body in the aftermath of the attack, when she had woken up barely alive without her powers back in the city but now, sitting around her small camp as she finally took a break after days of walking that did nothing but fuel her anger. She'd find a way to stop the Red Legion, find a way to kill Ghaul with or without the Light even if it was the last thing she did. -OR: The Red War begins; The Young Wolf is pissed, never before has she failed like this, failed to protect her people but the Guardian is willing to do whatever it takes to make things right, even at the expense of her own health.Complete
