(it will come together better as I write)
Her past was a mystery, Her future indeterminate. The present was always shaky.
At a incredibly young age, Her parents couldn't cope with Her, due to their incredible lack if foresight, and they sold her to a Russian (cliche, right?) organization through which She was trained on how not to feel, to kill, and to sabotage. They didn't give any of their children names. They had numbers, but She tried not to think of that anymore. All she knew about herself was that She had escaped into the real world on a mission to leave her past behind, and She was never, ever letting that go.
When Jane Madarang's neighbor Natalie kills herself and leaves behind cryptic instructions, it's up to Jane and her classmates to unearth deadly secrets.
*****
