Ten thousand years is a long time to take a nap. Amelia, a fourteen-year-old human girl, has lived in Inkopolis for four years since she left her cryopod. Her brother, having promised to be beside her when she woke up, is missing. Her parents are long gone, and the only one to look after her is a sea anemone with a hidden past.
Having fallen in love with the sport of turf wars, Amelia has snuck out to participate in a match, despite the warnings from her caretaker. Will she forever suck at the game, being unable to go squid? Will she ever find her brother? Will she ever be allowed to reveal her identity without risk of being dissected by a psychotic inkling scientist?

Inklings and octolings were competing with each other too seriously, that some of them are dying. In the past, he travelled to the year of 2021. There, he meets an inkling girl with the name of Sayuri. She found Yuki in a back alley one night and she took care of him. When Yuki shook her hand, he had this feeling they met. Although, Sayuri doesn't know where he comes from, she has a feeling that he's hiding something from her. Yuki also runs into some familiar faces as well. Why does Yuki have a feeling he and Sayuri met? And why does Sayuri feel like there's something more to Yuki?
