Corset in Congress (A Hamilton Genderbend)
A Hamilton AU where everything is the same except Alexander is a woman and she marries Elijah Schuyler. For the most part it is told from Aaron Burr's perspective, but that might change for certain chapters. I made this simply out of curiosity, and because I watched too many animatics, plus I thought it would be interesting to see how the story would play out with a female protagonist. The character interactions, lyrics, and overall plot could be impacted in many ways, and I'd like to see how that goes. I'm basically converting lyrics into text, tweaking them based on the needs of the context. Feel free to comment on anything you like, any little mistakes that need fixing. COMPLETED Elizabeth Schuyler is a 21yr old woman who lives with her two sisters, 18yr old Peggy Schuyler and 23yr old Angelica Schuyler in a cosy apartment in New York. She works at a nearby coffee shop and frequents a library quite often where she loves to get lost in books. She's known around her small corner of the city for being pretty and kind-hearted. Aside from that, her life isn't abnormal; she graduated with succeeding marks and is now just a not-very-rich girl trying to make a living, whilst putting up with her two sisters that drive her insane. { COMPLETED } ~please keep in mind that this story was started over a year ago, therefore the beginning was written when i was in 6th grade and obviously not a very experienced writer. for better stories, please check out literally any of my other stories~ info about this story: •This is a fan-fiction story. •The main relationship/story is between Alexander Hamilton and Lafayette, but there are other couples in the story. •It is modern AU (Alternative Universe), meaning the actual historical people have generally nothing to do with the story except for maybe a few things. Otherwise, the personalities of the characters are somewhat original and the appearances are based off of the musical Hamilton. •I will not write anything weird or 18+, so there may be kissing and adult themes but there will not be anything sexual.
