In a tournament of warriors that have bionically enhanced their bodies with technology for fame and glory, one champion stands unmodified. Toshi Muromachi.
It's the year 2230. Humans have conquered many illnesses and prolonged their lives by replacing limbs and vital organs with nano, cybornetics and newly discovered BioMechanical technology. All developed by The Kiri Corporation. A company built on generational wealth and deep ties with the black market and criminal underground. Making them one of the most powerful companies on the planet. Their success led them to create the Global Battle Arena. A tournament open to any contestant on the planet to join with the use of their BioMech technology. While many fight for glory, some are forced to fight to repay their debts.
Toshi's belief in the strength of the human body, along with the soul that resides within his sword, Chinmoku No Ikari, has stood unbeatable. His status, reputation and success especially as a half breed of asian and black decent doesn't sit well with The Corporation.
When Toshi is brutally wounded under suspicious circumstances, he not only has to fight for his life, but his identity. To get back to the top, it must first begin from within.
