Panic attacks are not usually a common occurrence in my life; meaning I have only experienced them twice before.

I was celebrating my third birthday and we decided to play a game of hide and seek.

Now me being the oh so smart girl that I was, decided shut the door to the room I was hiding in and just wait around in the room for someone to come in and discover my brilliant hiding spot.

Little did I know I had chosen one of the few doors to shut that had a very stiff, and not to mention high up, fiddly latch, so when my stubby little fingers tried to re-open the door to see if anyone was coming to find me, I discovered that the door wouldn't open.

I was trapped.
