After an earthquake dislodges a family heirloom, Rob Langolier picked it up, only for the blade to displace him into 19th Century France where he comes across a kindly bishop and a man down on his luck. He soon obtains a pistol from the bishop that launched him back to the late 18th Century, around New York City where he find that revolution is imminent.

As if adjusting to the ability to back and forth between these two periods of time wasn't hard enough, Rob also realizes that every time he speaks, it either becomes a full blown song or is tied to the rhythm of a background song, depending on which time he's in.

Eventually, Rob will be stuck between a revolution and a rebellion, praying to survive both.

[Male Reader X Maria Renard.] WARNING: This story contains plenty of narrative elements that are far more sinister and disturbing than my other books. Reader discretion is advised. The French Revolution. Late 18th Century France, 1792. France has seen a time of peace, until now. The cobblestone streets of Paris are soon to run red with blood as the populace rises against the oppressive vampire lead aristocracy. But freedom comes at a high price. Due to massive amounts of food purposely being held back from the public, the fall of a Regiment that once kept the peace, the manipulation of the people on a grand scale, and hunger induced domestic violence that spreads across France like wildfire, nowhere is safe. The aforementioned violence starts to boil over to the point where people are killing each other in the streets either in organized or non-organized ways. Including French Nobility using politics as a weapon to kill anyone whoever so slightly irritates them, or say the wrong words. Innocent people are sent to the guillotine as a result of the chaos, but not everything is as it seems. The counter-revolutionary aristocracy has forged an alliance with a terrifying Vampire Messiah, who promises to devour the sun, which will in turn darken the earth permanently, and allow an army of vampires and night creatures to crush the resisting humans and enslave humanity to only exist as their food to eat. Regardless, in the wake of The French Revolution, it leaves Richter, Maria, Edouard, Madeline, You, Annette, and Tera with no other options left but to band together, prevent the sun from being eaten by the so called "Vampire Messiah", to survive by any means, protect the people, and of course, to extinguish the creatures that lurk the night. Every last one. Good luck surviving this war, you'll need it. Castlevania Series © Konami & Netflix. Assassin's Creed © Ubisoft. All songs used in this story belong to their respective owners.

The Barricade Girl (A Les Miserables FanFiction)

97 parts Complete

Juliette Pontmercy and her older brother, Marius, have always been close - they had no secrets...or at least that's what she thought. When he suddenly becomes distant, she becomes suspicious. She worries about the secret meetings he's been attending, and the new circle of friends that he's been spending every day with, and spends nights lying awake, wondering where exactly he is and imagining what she might say to his new friends should she ever be given the chance to give them a piece of her mind. But when she follows her brother one day out of curiosity, she stumbles upon something revolutionary - something that will change her way of thinking and set her life on a brand new path. And Enjolras, the leader of this change, is going to change her life. Based upon Les Miserables by Victor Hugo - all characters belong to him. Character of Juliette is my own and belongs to me.
