Sadly, he fails at the crucial moment, unable to save Kurisu. It all becomes too much for Okabe who decides to call it quits and tries to live with himself after his biggest failure. That is, until an unexpected turn of events led him to face his past and give him another chance at reaching Steins;Gate and saving his beloved Kurisu.
