Daydream

Jacques isn't shiczophrenic.

Yet, he still see's things. Once in class, he screamed because he thought someone pulled a gun out of their backpack. Turns out it was just a pen. Another time, his mother found him crying on the bathroom floor, afraid to go outside because of the mastiff madly barking at the door. His mother had to drag him out of the bathroom to show him there was no dog. Just his imagination.

Everyone called him delusional, and he used to believe them. Things went awry when he saw someone get murdered. He hallucinated the murderer, but the body was still there. That meant whatever Jacques was seeing was more than his imagination.

That also meant he was only one who could see them, and possible stop the murderer.
