My mate is...from the past.

Phillip is the Beta of the NightShade Pack and has been for several years. The Alpha has already found his mate and both are old enough to retire. However, the Alpha has yet to birth any kids with his mate and therefore, Phillip stands next in line. Phillip is young, much younger than the Alpha and only received the title because his dad died very early in life. However, even though Phillip is young, he is very wise and knows how to do his role well. The Alpha has high respect for him and has no problem giving him the title if that's what it comes down to. However without his mate and Luna by his side, he can't do anything.

Lila Monroe is a feisty adventurer who can't seem to keep herself out of trouble. She's from a world that no one knows about, one which is separate from the rest of the world. Her time period is far different from Phillip's and she's from the past instead of the present and this is where the problem lies. Lila is acquaintances with a local sorcerer who seems to have all of the answers about the world that is unknown. Lila is a dreamer and someone who finds other realms highly fascinating but when Lila befriends the sorcerer's apprentice, things spiral out of control. The young apprentice isn't quite good with magic and ends up sending Lila into the future where she gets way more than she bargained for. She entangles herself in a world that she never knew existed and one which is all too mysterious for her.

As Phillips' soul bound mate, there shouldn't be anything stopping them from being together. But things aren't exactly that easy and as both of them struggle with their own problems, will they end up being together as they should? Or will Lila find her way back home and leave Phillip and the world that she comes to love, far behind? Will the sorcerer finally be stopped once his true colors are revealed?
